In this tutorial we have talked about APIs and their uses. we have briefly talked about what we discussed in previous tutorial such as use cases of APIs and who are going to benefit with this tutorial. After this we have discussed the difference between Twitter API version 1.1 and Twitter API version 2 by talking about the responses from both the endpoints. The data is shown to understand the difference between data responses which we have requested using POSTMAN client that is a popular program to write and test the APIs. Other than this we have shown the python programs that we can use to get the recent tweets by using Twitter APIs version 1.1 and version 2.
Other than this a brief discussion is done regarding the various kinds of access that Twitter provides such as basic, elevated and academic research api.
And then there is detailed discussion on the way you can create, like, unlike, retweet, and reply on a tweet and finally delete it using a python program. After this some of the probable project ideas are discussed that can help students to build some applications over Twitter api.
