I was on a live session this week with a bunch of job seekers who were complaining about recruiters who tell them they are being passed on to the hiring manager and then get ghosted for a job interview. The truth is they weren’t ghosted. They just didn’t get the job interview because the hiring manager was actually looking at 5 to 10 candidates and only ultimately chose 3 to 5 to interview.
