Was Genshin's Version 1 Roster Ever 'BALANCED'? | pt. 1
I’ve always wondered: has there ever been a time in Genshin’s lifetime in which the number of playable 4 and 5 stars was the exact same? So I looked into each Version to find my answer, starting with 1.0-1.6.
Genshin launched with 22 characters in 1.0, with the roster comprised of FOURTEEN(14) 4 Stars and EIGHT 5 stars, leaving it’s roster unbalanced.
Over 274 days and 6 Version Updates, Hoyoverse added FOUR 4 stars and EIGHT 5 stars, bringing the total to EIGHTEEN 4 stars and SIXTEEN 5 Stars. Therefore, throughout the entirety of Genshin’s inaugural Version, there was always more 4 stars than 5 stars, with Version 1 ending with 2 more 4 stars than 5 stars!
