VW Mk1 GTI rusty fuel tank refresh, Evaporust, POR-15
Another rambling video of me going over the steps of refreshing the rusty fuel tank from my 1983 Mk1 Volkswagen GTI, using Simple Green, Evaporust, POR-15 fuel tank sealer. This took place over a week and still requires 4 days to cure completely.
Fuel tank vapors are dangerous and highly explosive, these videos are not a complete guide and are intended to be for entertainment and documenting the procedures I find useful.
