How to change your keyboard layout on gnome wayland using xkb options which will show up as a custom menu entry in the gnome tweaks keyboard additional layouts menu and allow you to toggle the settings on and off
The xkb options are stored in your home config directory and this method doesnt involve editing the systems configuration files for the keyboard layout which would be over written when you do an update
