Kirby's Rock is located north west of Tingloy, right in the middle of the Verde Island Passage. Often, the visibility in this location is great for wide-angled underwater photography. But that's not only what Kirby's Rock has to offer! Kirby's Rock is teeming with macro critters that are exceptionally delightful to watch! You can see giant frogfish readying to ambush reef fish, nudibranch of every species living in the area, and yellow sea cucumbers blanketing the face of Kirby's Rock.
Interestingly, Kirby's Rock is actually comprised of two big rocks sitting next to each other on the sea floor; the first rock breaks the surface and goes down around 20 meters/60 feet, while the second rock starts at 20 meters/60 feet and goes down around 35 meters/110 feet. Amazing, isn't?
