What are electrophytes? Electrophyte or electrical wall tape is a type of conductor used in electrical installation. The adhesive electrophyte is installed without breaking the wall. Electric electrophyte is widely used to pull an outlet without breaking the wall.

The electrophyte socket kit consists of a copper electrophyte, overlap socket and terminals for connecting the electrophyte to the socket.

The 3-way electrophyte has the capability to be installed in an outlet with phase cable, neutral cable and ground cable. It can be installed in either 220V or 127V.

Among the objectives of this video, we highlight:
Electrical tests on the electrophyte, impact test, overload test and toxic smoke test.
What are the results of the tests applied to the electrophyte.

Topics covered:
The electrical tape is a subject of debate among professionals in the electrical world, and here in the channel we show how the process of installing the tape is according to what is described on the packaging.
After this video several professionals from the world of electricity asked us to test the tape.
One of the tests requested was the impact resistance. In this test we hit a bolt and also a form against and see if it is punctured or breaks easily.
Another test is the overload test, in this test we applied a much higher current than recommended for the electrophyte in order to analyze the behavior of the tape.
It was also tested if the smoke emitted by the electrophyte, when exposed to an overload, was toxic or not.
The tape format of the copper provides a larger area for temperature exchange with the environment, this makes the tape not break as fast as the electrical cables when exposed to an overload.
Clarifying an important point about tape. Both the NBR 5410 standard and the electrical conductor standards have not provided for items dealing with the tape, that is, it is not a standardized product.
The product as far as I have researched is also not certified by INMETRO.
The World of Electricity is not a certifying or testing company, so the tests and trials that we do have a didactic and curious character and are not criteria to validate or disapprove a product that is not standardized.

Featured parts of this video (edit notes):
00:22 - Several steps should be taken to install an electrophyte by pulling an outlet and without breaking the wall.
01:34 - Cables and wires have the same function as electricity conduction for electrical circuits, but the constitution of both is different.
02:37 - Cables installed in homes cannot emit toxic smoke.
03:31 - Thermography allows to see the temperature in electrical installations and avoid electrical problems in electrical circuits.
