Fixing this error: "there is not enough free space on the selected volume to upgrade the os"
In this video, I am fixing the Not enough disk space error or boot loop error for MacOS Catalina which also seems to work for MacOS Big Sur.
My MacBook got stuck in the middle of the update and gave an error saying I do not have enough space available. The only thing I could do was restart. The result was a boot-loop.
If you recognize this problem, this video might help you solve this problem. Before proceeding, continue at your own risk. I hope it will fix it for you as it did for me and some people I helped that had the same problem without losing any of your files.
You will only need an external SSD or HDD and make sure there are no (important) files on your external hard drive because everything will be deleted when you format it.
If you have any further questions or remarks, do not hesitate to write a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
