'Remi For Always' by CERUMENTRIC

As a composer-producer, this is the first song I wrote fully in Japanese, because I felt that it is a fitting language for me to express my surprise and grief for a good friend that I will never see again.

Our dear friend Remi died last year, July 2020. She is an adorable young lady, petite, hardworking, very cheerful, and she loves to travel. I met her in 2018 when she stayed in the Philippines as a volunteer for Japan Foundation's Nihongo Partners program. After her return to Japan, she made a promise with us to see each other in Tokyo in the near future.

She was working in a hotel in Tokyo when she suddenly collapsed due to cardiac arrest and died after a week-long coma due to eventual brain damage. But as they say, there is a bright light at the end of every dark tunnel. As my way of coping with the grief of losing a friend, I wrote this song so that people can remember her. Remi will always be loved for her kindness and generosity.

僕はフィリピンでセルメントリックという電子音楽インディロックアーティストとして2006年今まで自分のオリジナル曲を作って演奏しています。

「Remi For Always」という曲は僕の友達、れみちゃんを記念して作られたのです。

遅いなんですが、悲報を聞くと僕は悲しくなって、この曲の作り方は難しくなりますが、本当に頑張りました。れみちゃんの思い出のためにこのシングルを完成して発売したいです。
