Normally, an image in orthogonal view is only possible with a telecentric lens.
However, for large objects, telecentric lenses are very large, heavy, bulky and expensive.
Therefore we develop a new module for ContourTrace!
With this module you can use a normal perspective lens, e.g. that of a digital camera or smartphone.
The algorithm then reduces the perspective error to get an orthogonal view of the scene.
This enables the extraction of contours that are much more accurate in shape.
In addition, numerous objects can now be captured simultaneously without compromising the quality of the contours.
