ContourTrace - Your Image to DXF or SVG Converter
ContourTrace is a software that allows you to extract contours and splines from images and export them to DXF or SVG format. Typical use cases are e.g. the extraction of tool contours for the creation of shadow boards.
In this video we are going to show you the purpose of the Reload button. It gives you the opportunity to modify your picture amid the contour extraction process. You simply open the picture in an external image editing program (e.g. Paint, GIMP or Photoshop) and start to modify it. You can use it to refine single contours and/or add or remove elements to your contour. When finished save the altered picture and use the Reload button to load the modified picture into ContourTrace. Without any additional efforts the current filters and algorithms will be applied onto the altered picture.
