People often compare Sucrose with Venti for Crowd-Control capabilities, but that's not what you'll be looking for. Sucrose is a character that can share Elemental Mastery to her team mates as she swirls (Once past Ascension 1), giving a boost to reaction damage for the character that procs the reaction.
Elemental Mastery would be what you're looking to build on Sucrose, as her Ascension 4 talent allows her to share 20% of her Elemental Mastery to her party members once she hits an enemy with her Elemental Skill/Burst.
