The study was targeted at developing soil- crop suitability map for Enugu state through Geographic information system (GIS) and Multi-criteria evaluation (MCE).
This suitability mapping carried out with the help of GIS was in reviewed side by side with the prevailing land use (LU) practice of the region. The research analyze prerequisite to achieving optimum utilization of the available land resources in Enugu State- Nigeria. Standard- relevant land characteristics (LCs), quality (Q), alongside that of climate, topography & soil based on medium intensity survey techniques were collected, analyzed and the result was held after converting the data into a usable format for evaluation
