Zero turn mower engine won't turn over or crank - clicking sound - Easy Fix

The issue:
I bought this zero turn riding lawn mower in 2018 and have not had a single issue with it other than a whinny transaxle. The battery hasn't even had to be changed since it's garage kept. During today's mow, which was 3 yards totalling about 1.5 hours of mow time, I turned it off to use the blower for a few minutes. When I tried to start it to get it back in the garage it was would make a clicking sound like a machine gun. The engine was not even trying to turn over.
