Do you need a degree to be successful Web Developer?
Having a degree in computer science or a related field can be helpful, but it's not the be-all and end-all of web development success. Some of the best web developers I know never went to college - they just dove into coding headfirst.
In fact, not having a degree might even be an advantage. You won't be saddled with student loans or haunted by flashbacks of all those all-nighters studying calculus.
And let's be honest, when it comes to web development, what really matters is your ability to code, design, and create killer websites and web applications. So, as long as you have those skills, you're golden.
Of course, if you do have a degree, you can wave it around like a trophy and tell everyone you're a genius. But if you don't, don't sweat it. Just focus on building your portfolio, beefing up your skills, and crushing it in the job market.
