Calls to dissolve the troubled Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape are gaining traction.
The civil organisation, Let's Talk Komani, has taken the municipality to court demanding it be dissolved or the provincial government take full control over it, similar to Makhanda.
The municipality is in financial distress and impacting service delivery in the area.
