Socialistele Orasului expozitie masini istorice Bucuresti
Retromobil Club România, filiala Bucuresti, a organizat expozitia “Socialistele Orasului”, editia a IV-a, pe esplanada Bibliotecii Nationale a României. Dintre masinile prezente, amintesc: Peugeot 404, Volvo 121, Renault 16, Opel Rekord, diverse modele Aro, inclusiv un Portaro, Renault Fuego (mașina Zoei Ceaușescu), un autobuz Roman Diesel, etc, iar la final o masina surpriza!

Cars from the communist period on display in Bucharest on National Library esplanade. The exhibition dubbed "The City's Socialist Cars" featuring a selection of automobiles that rode the Bucharest streets during the socialist period.
This year's edition of "The City's Socialist Cars", part of the "Bucharest Cars" series, showcases a unique selection of vehicles representative for the period 1947 - 1989, following the automotive phenomenon of the socialist era, inaugurated by the arrival of Soviet tanks in 1944, in its chronological succession in three distinct periods, each with its specific traits: Stalinism (1947 - 1965), De-Stalinization - democratization of the automobile (1965 - 1980), Ceausescu's National Communism (1980 - 1989).
