How To Make Synthwave or Retrowave | FL Studio Tutorial
Synthwave or Retrowave is a genre of music inspired by 1980's video games and movies. I think that Stranger Things probably had a lot to do with it's rise in popularity over the past couple years.
Synthwave AKA Retrowave has been an increasingly popular genre over the past few years. I think it's starting to blow up in a similar way that lofi hip-hop did recently. I've never really gotten into the genre until recently, but I thought it would be fun to try my hand at producing something. This is my first attempt at producing Synthwave and I think I did a pretty good job. It is a bit different than most Synthwave music I've listened to so far, but I hope you like the track and the video!!
I'm starting a new series where I try to make new genres of music that I have little to no experience making, and then make a tutorial about how I put everything together. In this video I use mostly presets, but you'll get to see some other processing and sound design decisions that I make as I put the track together. I hope you like the video!
