Caesar’s Legion : The Hedgehog’s War
Is the Legion the best hope for civilization in the post-apocalyptic world or just a big raider gang that needs to be wiped out? Either way, it’s a force riddled with contradictions. Full of possibilities, some foreseen by Caesar and others that he’s completely blind to.
I gave up trying to get New Vegas to run on new hardware, so the game clips are taken from some of Oxhorn’s Fallout videos, which are great lore-dives.
Between when this was recorded and posted, I read “On Grand Strategy” by John Lewis Gaddis, which gets into the themes here in much more detail. I recommend it if the strategy of aligning goals and capabilities or the fox and hedgehog models are of further interest.
