Watch Part 2 here: • Extreme Camping in the Snow | Arctic ...
If you like adventure, ski traverses and snow camping in awful weather, you may enjoy this video.
Follow me across the Dividalen National Park into Sweden where l'll meet a friend in a Sami village called Kattuvuoma. And then, of course, we'll have to make it back!
This was a 12 days trip and the intention was to gain exposure to the extreme Arctic conditions and continue developing my Arctic winter skills.
Being out there for almost 2 weeks is not only physical, but very mentally taxing. Uncertainty is always there with you. You don't know when the bad weather will hit you and how bad will it be. Bad weather in Arctic regions is truly scary and potentially unforgiving.
You need tones of experience to truly be on top of your game in Arctic winter conditions and be able to travel 'worry-free.' Every year, accidents happen and people get injured or lose their life. Arctic travel must be taken very seriously or you'll pay for it.
