How To Attract Copywriting Clients (No Pitching!)

"How do I get clients with no portfolio?" I get this question all the time. And you could call my solution non-traditional.

Based on what I've seen around the interwebs, most freelance copywriters would begin to explain their favorite traffic source for leads...

That could be cold email, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc...

And then they offer up their "script" or "pitch" to win the client over.

And they would throw in something about a portfolio or professional website.

That's the very direct way to do it. It's the "go get 'em" model, I guess...

But I don't do that.

I did something different...

You see, there are folks out there that would kill for an endless stream of copywriting clients.

But I don't take "clients."

I didn't (and don't) reach out to any freelance clients. Instead, I just did what I describe in this video...

And now ironically, I turn away clients all the time.
