What makes the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening a fan-favorite? In this Game Retrospective, I explain the unique Dungeon Design in Link's Awakening. I also give my review of the Switch remake and comparisons to the original version as well as comparisons to other Zelda titles (particularly Oracle of Seasons / Ages, Minish Cap, Wind Waker). Tell me your favorite Zelda game below.

This project was a ton of work, taking much of February through May, and was funded thanks to your help on Patreon. There's a detailed blog post there behind the scenes. I'm really happy with how this turned out so I hope you enjoy it too. Thank you so much for your continued support! :D It's good to be back.

Regarding the sequence break in Oracle of Seasons in Subrosia, I know I'm definitely not the only one to have done it. I playtested it again for the video and I'm certain that there is more than one way to access Unicorn's Cave before Dancing Dragon Dungeon. This stuff always fascinates me. Let me know in the comments if you tried anything similar in Oracle of Seasons or a game in general, I'd love to hear your stories.
