This Japanese sauce is popular all over the world. The advantages of teriyaki sauce are quite pronounced – it has a bright and special taste, it fits different meat, poultry, fish and seafood dishes and it is often used for vegetable salads cooking.
There is a variety of teriyaki recipes but for classic recipe soy sauce, sweet mirin (rice vine), sake and brown sugar are used. Experienced cooks replace mirin by white dry wine. Our video recipe will help you to cook this famous sauce at home.

Ingredients:
• soy sauce – 300 ml
• white dry wine – 300 ml
• brown sugar – 300 g
• garlic – 30 g
• ginger – 30 g
You will need:
• stockpot
• carving board
• strainer
Preparation:
1. Mix the soy sauce, wine, sugar, ginger and garlic.
2. Bring the mix to a boil and cook for about 50 minutes over medium heat until light thickness – the amount of the sauce will reduce about twice.
3. Strain the teriyaki sauce and cool.
