You now lose a life in delve any time you die, even if you have another class resurrecting you.
There is still value in doing delves as a GROUP, since you have more CC and more class utilities to take advantage of
Doing delves as a SOLO player is less of a disadvantage, and with recent Delve Tuning they are trying to make it more of an even experience, which is a buff for SOLO players in a way
