Dr. Gruber’s roots and early career
Dr. Marion Gruber is a scientist whose work led her to an important role in government. As the director of the Office of Vaccines Research & Review (OVRR) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dr. Gruber oversaw vaccine development, regulation and licensure during some of the most well-known outbreaks and pandemics in recent history.
