PRABHAT'S HEALTH AND NUTRITION PROGRAMME
Prabhat's Health and Nutrition programme, aligns with Unilever Compass's commitment to improving health, confidence, and wellbeing. The programme includes targeted nutrition initiatives for adolescent girls and women of reproductive age at 12 sites, promoting better nutritional practices. The programme uses a behavior change model to ensure positive nutrition for women and children under five, supported by trained local women. The Prabhat Mobile Medical Vans, which is active at 4 sites, provide primary healthcare directly to rural areas, with qualified doctors visiting villages and organizing health camps. The programme effectively addresses gaps in public healthcare and is well-received at all three sites where it operates.
