UFT President Michael Mulgrew on NYC's new math curiculum
In an interview with Marcia Kramer on The Point, UFT President Mulgrew discusses how the new required algebra curriculum, Illustrative Math, has been implemented without the building blocks in place for students to be successful. “We are talking about children who are going to be harmed and not pass a test they need to graduate,” he warned.
