Director Ashton Pina's Nana's Boys tells a sensitive, intimate New York story that explores the relationship of two Black gay men. On the morning of his thirtieth birthday, Amari (David J. Cork) struggles to make decisions about his future - and his purpose. His boyfriend Q (Jared Wayne Gladly) is on track to become the youngest partner at his law firm and plans an elaborate soiree to celebrate this milestone. Unfortunately, the day takes a rattling turn when an explosion cuts off utilities across New York City and the city into a mandatory lockdown. Now the pair are left alone with nothing but time to consider their life together - and the memories that could shatter their life plans altogether. Nana's Boys tells a personal story that is all too relatable.
