NEAREST SHORE
The day is too short, the night is too long
The worst is behind them
And although they have nothing again
Silent and abandoned
Hope is still in their hearts, faith to go ahead
Nearest shore. Hope dies last.
The day is too short, the night is too long
No home, no rest
Who told them how to live
And that they mean nothing
Hope is still in their hearts, faith to go ahead
Nearest shore. Hope dies last.
The day is too short, the night is too long
What they have to lose
Every life has a value
that is why it is worth to live
Hope is still in their hearts, faith to go ahead
Nearest shore. Hope dies last.
NAJBLIŻSZY BRZEG
Za krótki dzień za długa noc, najgorsze już za nimi
I chociaż znów nie mają nic, milczący opuszczeni
Nadzieja wciąż się w sercu tli, wiara by naprzód iść
Najbliższy brzeg - Nadzieja umiera ostatnia
Za krótki dzień za długa noc, bez domu bez wytchnienia
Kto wmówił im jak mają żyć i że nie znaczą nic
Nadzieja wciąż się w sercu tli, wiara by naprzód iść
Najbliższy brzeg - Nadzieja umiera ostatnia
Za krótki dzień za długa noc, co mają do stracenia
Bo każde życie wartość ma, dlatego warto żyć
Nadzieja wciąż się w sercu tli, wiara by naprzód iść
Najbliższy brzeg - Nadzieja umiera ostatnia
HUMAN RIGHTS - the hardcore punk sounds accompanying socio-personal lyrics, which arise from irritation caused by manipulation, increasingly intrusive attempts to influence our lives and turning people against one another because of views, religion, nationality and gender differences.
There is power, melody, catchy refrains and lyrics about freedom, respect, compassion, tolerance - all that we forget about much too often, overwhelmed by brutal and hypocritical reality, manipulated by political slogans, promises and lying.
The band made their debut with a well-received album “Human Rights” in 2017. In 2019 they released “Sprzeciwu Głos” – a second album asking uncomfortable questions about who we are and who we become under the influence of authoritarian upbringing, political propaganda, religious indoctrination and shifting towards nationalism. Do we understand what is happening to us or are we just mindlessly going to the slaughter? At a time when independent thinking becomes uncomfortable for political elites and religious leaders wanting to raise obedient and unthinking slaves, it is worth debating whether consumption should make us accept all scams and remain insensitive to the harm of others. Shall we keep silent in the face of fooling and applause for homophobic and xenophobic attacks dividing people into better and worse?
The group had the pleasure to share the stage with Moskwa, Dezerter, Włochaty, Hańba!, Inkwizycja, Total Chaos (USA), Fuck It ... I Quit (USA), D.O.A. (Canada) and many others.
HUMAN RIGHTS were hosted, among others at Resist Festival 2017; Zalesie Punk Picnic # 5; Ultra Chaos Picnic # 10; Punk Picnic 2019; DIY. Punx Fest 2019; Pol'and'Rock 2019 Festival (...)
