How to set up Voice Assistants / What's New in Home Assistant May 2023.5? Voice, Voice, and Voice!
Home Assistant 2023.5 will be released soon and contains a ton of new functionalities around Voice Assistants. It's now possible to talk to the Home Assistant Voice Assistant using speech-to-text and Home Assistant talks back to you using text-to-speech. It's also possible to connect Home Assistant to OpenAI so that you can ask questions to Home Assistant using your voice and Home Assistant will respond with an answer with a voice. You can now have conversations with Home Assistant. And you can control Home Assistant using the Atom Echo! I explain in this tutorial video how to set up voice assistants in Home Assistant yourself!
