EA have just released Sims 4 news. EA boasts that Sims 4 has surpassed 33 million players and is on its 6 consecutive year of growth in its Qtr 3 financials.
The Sims Community have criticised the Sims 4, and its one of the most hated compared to Sims 3, Sims 2 and Sims 1.
If Sims 4 is so heavily criticised , why is growing in sales and popularity.
Does this mean that the Sims 4 is not as bad as people make out to ve, or are the other external factors that enabled its growth ?
I see if I can compare The Sims 3 sales to the Sims 4 sales, and explore other reasons why sims 4 has surpassed 33 million players and is still growing.
Has Sims 4 influencers like plumbella, James Turner, Lilsimsie steered the growth of the Sims 4. Has Sims 4 challenges like the 100 baby, not so berry challenge given us new ways to enjoy the sims 4. Are the sims community and the sims 4 creators the backbone of the success of Sims 4?
