ANNIHILATION - Book & Movie Comparison
Annihilation is now up on Netflix so I thought I would do a book and movie comparison. Spoilers for both the book and the movie.
The novel Annihilation first came out in 2014 and was written by Jeff VanderMeer. The novel follows the biologist who travels into Area X, a mysterious area that has been transformed by extraterrestrial activity. The movie adaptation was released in 2018 and was directed by Alex Garland. The movie stars Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
