The sneaker resale market has crashed and honestly, sneakerheads like me aren’t mad about it. With even hyped releases selling at or below retail, resellers are struggling to move inventory and make ends meet. The culture has shifted with fakes and reps being now widely accepted, and brands like Nike are flooding the market resulting in less hype and exclusivity. From bots and slow apps, it’s no wonder everyone is over paying hundreds of dollars for shoes on the resell market. In this video, I break down why the future of reselling is failing and what this means for the future of the sneaker culture.
