What a fight! I’m not sure many had much faith in Dustin Poirier being able to pull off the upset, no matter how many people would have liked to see the Diamond wear UFC gold. As much as Islam controlled the majority of the fight up until the finish, Dustin had some great moments and the bout was both competitive and entertaining.
Dustin had hinted at retirement but it remains to be seen whether that will be the Diamonds last dance.
