Teaching English grammar is all about activating authentic communication. To accomplish this, you must put your ESL students in scenarios where your taught grammar will come up naturally. We teach grammar to communicate! Worksheets and writing sentences are OK, but it's only in role-plays where this authentic communication is possible.
In this video, we go deep into the details of how to create great grammar role-plays and speaking activities. We cover the pre-work needed and 8 must-have ingredients to make them work. At the end of the video, I share 5 role-plays for you to use in your own lessons.
