Following a significant hack that permitted a bad actor do things like livestream cryptocurrency scam videos, change channel names, and even remove videos, the Linus Tech Tips YouTube channel and two additional Linus Media Group YouTube channels have been restored. Owner Linus Sebastian says in a new video that the hack got around password and two-factor authentication measures because the malicious actor went for the session tokens that allow you to remain signed in to websites.
