NEW KIDS IN THE FLOCK!! ~ a FULL DAY of shuffling sheep, starting harvest & A SURPRISE VISITOR!!
This week was a transition from the sheep work, to harvest.
Getting caught up on the sheep jobs included shipping the remaining spring lambs, and the open ewes... and bringing our new ladies back over to the big girl barn!
The very next day had us in the fields for the first of what will be many days of fall harvest.
Starting with finishing off our year's supply of sheep feed by harvesting corn silage.
And just when I thought we would have a wee break, we immediately moved into soybean harvest.
But... we ended up having our buggy girl make a surprise appearance, say hello again to JESS!!
