15 06 28 Big Bear coming around
This bear was alone in the middle of the night, wandering around our house. Just up the hill I left a collapsible trash can with some weeds in a plastic black trash bag and an empty bucket to continue weeding the next day. The next morning we discovered the weeds strewn about, the collapsible trash can shredded and thrown down a hill. The bucket was misshapen and had puncture wound from its canine teeth, measuring 4-5" apart. This bear must have had previously trash can experience. Lesson learned: Never leave a trash can outside (even if it is empty or just has weeds) as just the image is enough to cause a bear to tear into it and cause trouble for both of us. Luckily, we had no other damage.
