On the run from Serb Sniper Sasha Ivanic, Navy Pilot Chris "Longhorn" Burnett flags down a passing 80s Ford pickup truck with Bosniak guerrillas while the 1961 song 'The Wanderer' by Dion blares out from the car stereo. The Bosniak guerrillas among them a young militant named Babic (Kamil Kollarik) offer him a ride to the town of Hač, which turns out to be a war zone.

Plot: While flying a routine mission over Bosnia, a US fighter pilot photographs something he wasn't supposed to see and gets shot down behind enemy lines.
