This two part video will look at how the Python programming language can be used to quickly and easily solve the 1D wave equation to simulate waves on a string.

This video is aimed at people interested in physics and would like to see how the observed behaviour of objects appear from the often short and (sometimes) simple equations that describe them!
Undergraduates in STEM subject may find the transient behaviour of these equations very interesting!
