In this keynote, we will demonstrate the use of AI to generate code to process MIDI and OSC real-time input for several visualisers for p5js. This cutting-edge technology allows developers to create dynamic and engaging visualisations without the need for manual coding. The AI-generated code is optimised for real-time performance and can be easily integrated into existing multimedia projects. The input may originate from a wide range of sources including physical instruments and applications generating musical information such as DAWs, sequencers, live coding environments and the like. In the talk, we will explore how AI can be used to code sequencers from scratch. The sequencers will follow different paradigms, such as Euclidean rhythms, superimposing prime number durations to generate a wide variety of musical information. Live input including percussion instruments and live looping will be used to highlight the capabilities of this technology.
