Quest 2 and Quest 3 controller shave a really annoying software oversight where they will constantly stay on and bluetooth search for their headset. This causes a constant vampiric drain on your batteries.

So what would be the way to rectify this? Short of Meta pushing a software update; the answer is to remove the batteries after a play session.

Such a simple and cumbersome execution but it will save you the headache of having depleted batteries and no on hand replacements.
