In the 25th century the Martian moon Deimos was converted into a massive space faring vessel. In 2472 the ship would start it's 300 year journey to colonize the Tau Ceti star system. It would begin with a crew of 25,200 individuals and 11 AI. 50 senior staff, 1,150 officers, 3 AI meant to operate onboard the vessel, 8 AI meant to operate at the colony, and 24,000 civilians. The most important colonization personnel would be placed into stasis to be awakened upon the conclusion of the ship's journey. The rest were meant to live on this ship as it traveled across the galaxy. Inevitably, generations would come and go knowing only the interior halls of their vessel as their home. The ship was called the UESC Marathon and this is one story of those who were born on board.
