There are over 1,500 homeless people residing in the Kansas City metro area. That’s 1,500 people who will be unable to sit down at a dining table and have Christmas dinner with their loved ones.
Most, with nothing but the clothes on their backs, spend Christmas day huddled under bridges or sleeping on concrete, just trying to stay warm.
What if you had the power to change the life of someone living on the streets? What if you could give someone a Christmas they’d never forget?
Our mission is to raise $15,000 to create a Christmas feast for 300 of Kansas City’s homeless population on Christmas day. The money would be used to create a warm, home-like environment, including table cloths, candles, placemats, and decorations, provide warm clothing and cater a plated dinner.
You do have the power to change a life and it starts here. If you can’t afford to donate, we ask that you share this with others.
Christmas is for everyone. Happy holidays.
