'Bicycle Arsonist' accused of trying to burn down Jeanerette City Hall; mayor describes what he saw
A man that some are calling “The Bicycle Arsonist” is accused of trying to burn down the Jeanerette City Hall. Mayor Carol Bourgeios Jr. took time out of his busy day to describe the tense moments at city hall and explain the suspect's history with city leaders. Desmond Eugene, 41, of Jeanerette, is behind bars after allegedly starting a fire at city hall on Wednesday, August 28.
