Trying to fix buckled bike rim (non-expert !)
Hi , I had a bit of buckle in front rim of bike when i tried to get up kerb the other day. I had a crack at statening rim with spoke tool. The tool i used was a bit of a hassle as it suit various gauges , and i managed to mangle a few spokes a bit. Anyhow it was lucky that my forks have mounting hole for caliper brakes as it was easy to set a gauge there. At first i assume clockwise would tighten spoke but it appears that anticlockwise is to tighten and clockwise to loosen. Tightening spokes pulls the rim in that direction, but good to work on a few spoke either side and loosen opposing ones a bit.
