V. Balsara Instrumental | Ore Grihabasi | Rabindra Sangeet Instrumental
Rabindra Sangeet instrumentalist and V. Balsara are two inseparable words. He was probably one of the greatest exponents of Rabindra Sangeet instrumentalist from the yesteryear. He became a famous instrumentalist, orchestra conductor, music teacher, and music director of non-filmy songs and a few Bengali films during the rest of his life. Different musical instruments were experimented with him. He arranged and played the background music for Lata Mangeshkar’s first Bengali song (a duet Rabindra Sangeet with HemantK) - "Madhu gandhe bharaa". V Balsara was one of such music directors who started his career in Hindi films but could not sustain it for long as a music director. Then he joined the Bengali film industry and got colossal success rest of his life. He began his music career at the age of four. He even collaborated with the popular Bengali rock band, Bhoomi, to create fusion music.
