A few tips I learned through this experience:
Plan your trip around a new moon, or when the moon hans’t yet risen. It makes a HUGE difference!
Get an app that tracks the sky. This was super helpful when trying to find where the Milky Way would be.
Use red light flashlights to find your way around at night, so your eyes don’t have to keep adjusting👌🏼
