The megacity that (almost) nobody has heard of
With a population of over 23 million, the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, is the fourth largest city in the world. Despite this, few people outside of Bangladesh have heard of it. I arrive there at the end of Ramadan and watch the locals celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid. Despite my bad premonitions, Dhaka shows me a side I didn't expect.
