Opening night at the Vienna State Opera (Staatsoper) with Rinat Shaham and Roberto Alagna. What was significant in this scene is that the part where Carmen covers Don Jose with her skirt was changed in the next performance, which we also saw. If you are ever in Vienna, do try to attend the opera any chance you can. Prices are very reasonable for a world class event.
